Extended weekends mean I live in Chennai. And I'm going to be cool, I'm going to tell you I watched two Oscar-nominated movies, but I'm going to be normal because I'm not that high-brow, I watched two nominees out of five in the Best Animated Feature category, The Princess and the Frog, and Up!
Saturday night I was on the beach, buzzed on beer in a stunning white house with sand in my toes, slurring on Facebook and watching the saucer moon with saucer eyes praying for company of the kind in my head.
And then of course, one day of my break was spent sitting entirely on the laptop grinning my arse off, hey that's just, regular procedure. Also watched the Germany vs. Korea hockey game last night with my dad, I think he was rather surprised with the fact that I acknowledged his existence. But now I know what a drag-and-flick is. I have also realised that I subconsciously support Germany all the damn time. I don't get it. But hey-oh, go Deustchland!
Went to visit my grandparents today, and I got a haircut which I describe as "Stepford minus the evil doubleplus the cute". For the first time in approxinately three years I have hair that I do not hate.
I'm currently obsessed with the following songs. Automatisch, Tokio Hotel. Bodies, Robbie Williams. Edit, Regina Spektor. Teenage Kicks, Snow Patrol.
Additionally, these lyrics are pretty good.
Sie unterstützen Deutschland? Ich auch unterstützen Deutschland!
ReplyDeleteJeez. Google Translate seriously enables you, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'll give you another one. Ghosts by Laura Marling. Been tripping on that all week =)
ReplyDeleteBodies and Edit, highfive. Also this other one from Reality Killed The Video Star called Blasphemy. Bizarre lyrics, maybe that's why.
